PVT vented Technology:
The PVT disc uses, in its ventilation chamber, pillars instead of vanes. Disc cooling capacity is enhanced by an extra 40% and therefore provides more resistance against thermal cracking.
All Kinetix sports discs are Coated Silver to prevent the discs from corrosion in areas not swept by the brake pad. Optimum brake performance is realised after the zinc coating has been removed from the pad track area, which can take up to 100 miles. It is normal that a small amount of noise is exhibited from Kinetix slotted rotors when they are first applied. This noise gradually diminishes and at around 1,000 miles of road use the noise will be minimal. By nature of the way this product works, Kinetix sport slotted discs will always make some noise and this is not cause for concern, it is not a safety issue and is not recovered by warranty.
